Never believe that anyone you actually want to win in an election is "up double digits"

It is most prudent to assume that the person you want to win is up by exactly 4 percent. This is not depressing, but you know you can't slack off an expect them to win.

Why? Some people might even lie about a big lead and hope that bad weather and "apathy of the young" throws an election. Diabolical! Don't fall for it.
