Wow, if I read the previous presser first (my reader is sorted by newest) I would have learned that it was a wellness check/mental health check. Now he's dead.Also, it wasn't first responders, it was EHS, the paramedics, that they called. While paramedics are ALSO first responders, they also have much more training than that.Police should not be leading mental health services, they should be supporting social workers, or others trained to work WITH people, not subdue them.
