I bought some signature punches for a bookbinding project, and these can normally be very expensive so I was skeptical that they'd be any good at this price... but these things work GREAT. It's super easy to make neat signatures and bind your own notebooks.
You do need to buy an awl, thread and needle but that's it.

@futurebird It's remarkable just what "we have a CNC machine, and we're not using it to 100% capacity" can lead to.

I think they are laser cut. But the middle bit is a nice hunk of wood and heavy.
