The blonde character also gets long-term, deeply involved with Ted's primary romantic interest, and there are hints that maybe blonde one's exploits are overstated because Ted's still not over it or otherwise remembers it through a negative perspective.

Its a bad show. Not quite as bad as the big bang theory, but still quite awful

He also works in an I'll defined seemingly meaningless job at an enormous faceless banking conglomerate that pays him ludicrously wellIt was defined at the end though, he was a scapegoat that was signing all legal paperwork to be a fall guy when they did illegal shit. He was also an FBI informant, so all the illegal shit he signed he informed the FBI about. Pretty sure that was a retcon to just wrap up the series though.
