I really wish I could find the name of the artist who made this shell oil add for a pesticide. They drew a really expressive, but still "ant-like" ant.
It's a hard thing to do! I think they also drew this grasshopper... and I can't even find the source for that one.

I love that these images were done on commission for pesticides but the person who did these drawings loved bugs.
It was mostly likely Mr. Thornton Utz. Mr. Utz loved bugs.
I could have told him all about ants for hours.
