@futurebird stigmergy ought to have been used as a name for one of the many tools for cooperative editing. A much better name than "git", "mercurial", "subversion", "cvs", etc. Imagine, saying "ok, I'm ready to stigmergy my changes into the trunk", and running commands like "stigmergy merge", "stigmergy update", "stigmergy diff", etc.
