Early weekday mornings in New York, you’ll often see parents walking their children to school. These are usually kids from kindergarten through about sixth grade—by seventh grade, most get there on their own. One of my small joys is noticing how much the kids look like miniature versions of their parents: the same mannerisms, the same features, even the same general style of dress. Once you start noticing it, it’s endlessly amusing.

It’s exactly like this. And what’s also funny is the parents are often unaware of this and think their kids are totally different… but mostly they are just identical.
