Some of the eurypterids have S-tier scientific names: Megalograptus ohioensis you've gotta love that name. The people of Cleveland should celebrate this ancient creature more. There are many names that leave much to be desired... this is NOT one of them.

Megalograptus is so fun to say.

Almost as good as the probably rightly rejected "Gonnagetchadactus"

To be fair Hibbertopterus is also a great evocative name. Why do the eurypterids have such good genus names?
