There were a couple of people on X trying to claim he was left-wing, but even they were half hearted about it.

Frankly when I saw the photos I did some extra checking because he looked and seemed *too much* like what I expected he'd be given the crimes.
You know because of confirmation bias. But, I think this is not that complex. It's just terrible.
