    Hey any #math people here? I have a math problem that I need someone to explain to me like I'm 10.

    The math problem is like this: if I have a 2d projection of a 3d landscape, things get smaller as they get farther away. So let's say that there's an object that is moving from position 1 to position 2. I know how much smaller this object gets, but I don't know 3d coordinates or anything, only 2d. I want to calculate what should be the apparent velocity on the projection. Obviously on the y axis it should be slower! But by how much? I have to figure this out only from the change in the object size.

    Yes, this is #GameDev math.
