There was a narrow path, but it involved NAN going for Cuomo... and they can be annoying sometimes so I was a little nervous.
But, now it's consolidation time.
Will Mr. Mamdani hold on to his principles as he becomes the focal point of the 1000s of groups and forces that make up the ungovernable city?
Let's hope so!
Or will he be tempted and threatened into giving up?
It could happen!

To be honest NAN was never going to endorse "not a democrat" or if they did it would have been a scandal that never ended because of ... history.

A liberal Black church network. The person you are most likely to know from it is Rev. Al Sharpton and Martin Luther King III, but it's a bit more extensive than that.
Many pastors and more liberal activist orgs are members or friendly with NAN.

I was a part of an effort to twist their arm on LGBTQ issues about a decade ago. The arm should not have needed to be twisted. I think they are mostly over this. You know how liberals are.

During the debate this one guy tried to claim that "old head" was a slur. It was very silly and annoying.
My brother just texted me "got the old heads!"
