I'm still surprised I'm stoked on and have made plans to watch another baseball game, but heck yeah! As someone who doesn't watch much beyond highlights, I'm curious, does Gilbert having pitched 30ish pitches on Saturday really change anything? I The commentators on Friday were talking like it would but it seems like he pitched about a third of a game, so couldn't he just move back in the rotation? Or am I missing something obvious? -

Idk but I can guess. I think if your best 3 starters pitch games 1, 2, and 3 of a 7-game series, then they also usually start games 5, 6, and 7 (i.e., your best starters start twice). Maybe with the pushback he'll probably only start once
