I'm just not looking forward to this NBA season
-
Yup. I'm just not that excited to watch the games. OKC is the reigning champ. They will likely repeat again with their cadre of young stars. What story is there to watch? Is there a team whose play gives you pleasure or delight? None for me. OKC is SGA Iso heavy. Warriors are good again but it ain't the splash brothers offense. Lakers have 2 stars and a bunch of hasbeens. I thought Pacers are fun to watch but Tyrese is out the entire year. Celtics are without Tatum. Philly is miserable. Cavs might be contenders but they excite me about as much as a pair of old socks. My own team is crap, not in any position to make noise in a weakened East. Things might change when it gets biting cold and football is done, and I can't stand the misery of NHL. But right now, there's not a whole lot of reason for me to watch the NBA this season. How about you?

How about you?I like watching Giannis and Jokic. The East is a bit more of a mystery without Tatum or Halibutton, so that could be a cool storyline. The retirement home Clippers could be weird.

The retirement home Clippers could be weird.Bucks don't have the right players around Giannis. Him taking too many steps and 20 seconds to shoot freethrows is getting old. Jokic is an artist for sure. That team doesn't have fun factor.

What don't you like about the Cavs? They're one of the most dynamic teams in the league, imo. And the Spurs should be fun as hell this season. They just don't excite me watching them Cavs. OKC is way better version of what they do. Spurs could be fun. Depends on how Fox gets integrated into that team. I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Dallas.

How about you?Generally I don't start paying attention until the half point, or if my team (Celtics) is doing something amazing, so it's hard to say if I empathize because it's early or because I share your pessimism. But you're not wrong; it's looking like a recipe for a boring start, at least.

How about you?You need to watch the Spurs, and not just for Wemby. Castle is gonna be amazing, and their roster this season is pretty good. I’m also interested in seeing if the Nuggets can make it all the way with arguably an even better roster than their championship squad.
