    The entire 300HR row is my Reds nonsense. So are Mat Latos and Reggie Jefferson (though he’s also Tallahassee nonsense).

    Rico Carty is a favorite.

    For Marlins, I was relieved to remember Cangelosi from the ‘97 Champions. Destrade was a big deal for the ‘93 expansion team—a Cuban-born slugger 1B who’d raked in Japan coming to Miami.

    Cruz is an APBA memory: Cleveland in 79, Pirates in 81.

      Honestly, I saw the Pittsburgh/Cleveland square and thought, “Blyleven’s too obvious.”

      Then I thought, “Victor Cruz.”

      Then I thought, “Who the hell is Victor Cruz?” and looked him up. Sure enough, I know I played APBA with his ‘79 and ‘81 cards. The brain is weird. Simultaneously remembered and didn’t remember Victor Cruz.

          @seaks Thanks! I am far too pleased with myself and I’m about to hunt through the attic for my APBA stuff.

              Owchinko was a Pirate? Turns out he was traded before the season started to the A's for Ernie Camacho.

              However, he signed with the Bucs in 83 as a free agent and pitched one game spending the season in AAA.

                @beisbolcards @seaks

                Donruss printed after the 12/9/80 trade to Pittsburgh, but before the 4/6/81 trade to Oakland.
