I remember once my players spent like 15 minutes discussing how to get across a 10 foot long puddle of water in a cave. Eventually I had to remind them that 10' isn't _that_ far, and you can RAW jump your strength score in feet with a running start. They didn't need to build a bridge or cut into the walls. They could also just go into the water, but I understand not wanting to submerge yourself in cave water when you don't know what's down there.

I once made a good roll and my character threw a goat at a kobold. Halflings +1 to throwing. My DM started to calculate the damage, gave up and just said the kobold died. Then we figured out goats had more hp than kobolds and had a goat in the party...til the end of the campaign lol. It's was out goat of holding.

I was sneaking into a building while wild shaped into a cat, the mage was quietly removing knives from the kitchen with mage hand before creeping in the window. Our artificer was making sure there was no one in the manor's first floor bathroom. Upon finding a gentleman squatting down to relieve himself, she threw acid on him in a panic. That was when we rolled for initiative.

Not just violence, she melted a dude's junk off with acid. Just some staff in the manor, not even a guard.

Just played a session where there was a mirror with a symbol of a full moon, as well as a nearby moondial that shows the current phase of the moon. The party deduced that the moon needed to be a full moon to work, but no one wanted to wait days until the moon was in the right phase. One of the players decided to expose their whole ass to the mirror to see if that type of "full moon" would do anything. When that didn't work, a sorcerer in the party used an illusion spell to make the actual moon in the sky resemble the other character's bare ass. Sadly, that also didn't work.

My players once used charisma and magic to basically trick/enslave some generic box to participate in everything for THE WHOLE CAMPAIGN. I kept trying to kill him and when that didn’t work I tried to make them feel bad about the situation because he had a family at home that had no idea where he was and when I finally managed to kill him they just brought him back from the dead. He was a level 4 night and they were level 18 when the campaign ended

Will do, I'm on page 273, & I saw in the thousands on the archive!?! This is [Questionable Content all over again](https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1) Though I will admit, Order Of The Stick does start with a really good art style & sticks to it, whereas QC started off a little scuffed & evalved/improved over the years IMO (plz no kill, these are opinions of a silly goose x^P

That movie was *exactly* like a DnD session, even including the OP NPC that the DM introduces to *finally* advance the plot because the players are all acting like bumbling idiots.

Oh, how I envy you. OOTS has been a part of my life for so long. You will laugh, cry, and be amazed all the time. Enjoy the ride. The only one I think is kind of close but on a whole different scale is girl genius! The artwork is top notch and the story is amazing. It's sometimes a bit too slow but still holds up after 15+ books.

Order of the Stick is so good, and has such surprising emotional depth for a stick figure comic about D&D. Just be aware that the updates are intermittent.

My old pandemic D&D group was the best. They cared about everything. But I remember specifically one time they arrived at a large party. I was describing the scene- large tables set with food, small groups of people mingling, and off in the corner you see a man talking to a woman, her back is against the wall and he's got his arm on the wall so he's kind of trapping her there. She looks uncomfortable. The players all beelined to those two to rescue the NPC from the guy. Oh, Pretty Paul. They hated him so much. Such a good villain. (Started as a riff on Handsome Jack, and it worked so well. One of the players wrote a song about how much they hated Paul)

My problem was that the characters are generally unlikable and unfunny, except the barbarian lady, she was the only good part of that movie.

I don't read many of them, but in the RPG theme I can recommend Goblins! (https://www.goblinscomic.com/comic/06252005) And, well, while it's not quite a webcomic but more a series of mostly unrelated skits, there's always good old Oglaf... It's quite hilarious, but uh huge **NSFW WARNING** just in case you miss it : https://www.oglaf.com/cumsprite/

The new D&D movie is super good, but the first one from 2000 still has one of my favorite quotes. "I want to get myself a nice Dwarven woman, with a beard you can just hang onto!"

My friends and I once came across what was clearly a pit of spikes (in hindsight), and instead of going over them...proceeded to climb down into the *pit of spikes*, navigate through them, and climb up the other side. The DM said nothing and just let it happen. Me and the rogue were probably both a little intoxicated (I definitely was). If the barbarian knew, she also didn't say anything.
