Sometimes you will see a person replace dress pants with jeans in a “a work clothes” outfit? when and how can this work? There are three key factors:
    1. Jeans must be fitted and hemmed (really this should almost always be true even for casual)
    2. Dress pants colors such as gray or navy. no distressing or rips.
    3. SHOES

Leather oxfords or any other shoe you’d wear with a suit instantly make clear your intentions.

Dress shoes can turn even jeans and a tee-shirt into “extreme work casual” this is because shoes are often the most expensive element of an outfit so they say the most about what is trying to be accomplished.

When it comes to finding leather Oxfords that fit and look presentable it can be quite difficult task. I think shoes are the key to the mystery of “California Work Dress” It’s kind of arbitrary and pointless but that’s the code.

The term “dress code” indicates a set of rules, but I also consider fashion a kind of encryption of social order. And like all forms of encryption it is an arms race where the rules constantly change.

women’s workwear has much more to do with makeup and hair styling, than the actual clothes, the range of items and variations so great it can be overwhelming. Fortunately, you can simply wear any men’s fashion. If you are concerned, it would look masculine simply pick it in pink or put on a necklace: done!

if you have unconventional or so-called ethnic hair, or do not wear make up you’ll need to wear fancier clothes to compensate it’s bullshit, but that’s how that works.

If your hair is conventionally styled and cut and you have on “tasteful” make-up and jewelry you can wear almost any clean properly-fitted clothing and it will suffice as workwear.
