@futurebird @FediThing I was fooled by an AI book, a brand new publication on something I know about, by an author I hadn’t heard of, recommended to me by an algorithm. About halfway through reading it I thought: I don’t feel there is human intelligence behind this. There’s something off. But it was such a weird feeling I dismissed this.
I keep it on my desk as a visual prompt.
@futurebird I’m not yet confident that I can distinguish bull ant from yikes that’s a big ant. But I do certainly come across solo YTAB ants in the morning more often than later in the day. Coastal east coast Australia, just south of Sydney.
Every time I come across a significant ant bustling about I now notice it differently, and think about who it might be and what it’s up to. This is 100% thanks to @futurebird.
So, obviously, thank you. But also just thinking about this: we change each other’s everyday lives all the time with what we know and know how to share.
