Half-Life 2 RTX | Demo with Full Ray Tracing and DLSS 4 Announce -
Survive-em-up?This one makes so much sense I’m surprised it’s the first time I hear it. -
Because that is exactly what gaming market was missing: An AI companion. This is needed because Xbox is so unpopular that Xbox gamers need somebody to talk to about Halo and stuff. I would know, I own XSX but I don’t like people so that works for me. -
Wtf even is this?Let’s hope those are just tracks confirmed so far. IIRC THPS1+2 had most if not all of the old tracks with some modern in the mix which fit perfectly. -

There is no reason for this to exist.Agreed, I own a bunch of older handhelds with better form factors and large libraries of games. I tried to give gaming on iOS a go and it’s fine but the catalogue is still to small if you don’t want to touch gachas. I think this thing might be for people who play those though. -
There is no reason for this to exist. The reason for this to exist is for a phone + controller combo to be pocketable. Even the most compact add-ons like Razer Kishi are not exactly that. This should be somewhat similar but integrated for the weirdos that want it. -
Able to Play, a game repository that helps you find games that match your accessibility needs, just launched!I thought it was cool but after I set my preferences to the overall visual fanfare and achievement popups I realised I gave away my medical data for free. -
They can’t even get a console to market anymore, why are they branching off to handhelds lol. What do you mean? How is Microsoft unable to get console to market? -
How Konami Brought a Beloved Video-Game Franchise Back From the DeadArchive: https://archive.is/vQ0U6 > Imagine, if you will, a video game that’s almost like a cross between *Pokémon* and *Game of Thrones*. You can collect characters and build up a castle as you go to war to protect a nation under siege. There are flawed heroes, tragic villains and monstrous betrayals. The sequels take place in different countries within the same world, adding new depth to characters and making the setting feel rich and alive, like a television show that broadens its scope every season. > On paper this might sound like a guaranteed hit, but *Suikoden*, the clumsily titled role-playing game series from Konami Group Corp. that began in 1995, has always been niche. Maybe it’s the name. Maybe it’s the old-school gameplay. Maybe it’s the fact that the series stuck with 2D graphics as competitors were moving to primitive 3D. Whatever the reason, the franchise has been underappreciated for decades. > Following the stellar fifth entry, which arrived in 2006 for the PlayStation 2, Konami released a couple of ill-received spinoffs and then put *Suikoden* on the shelf. Most fans assumed it was dead, like a TV show canceled too soon, leaving them with plenty of grief and lingering questions. > So it was a shock a few years ago to see Konami announce an out-of-nowhere remake of the first two *Suikoden* games. Those remakes finally came out this week, along with another surprise — during a live-stream, the company said that it is hoping to bring back *Suikoden* in an even bigger way, with an anime, a new mobile game and much more. -

Digital Foundry: AMD FSR 4 Upscaling Tested vs DLSS 3/4 & - A Big Leap Forward - RDNA 4 Delivers!FSR4 is available for GPUs that can’t do DLSS. Console gamers will appreciate that next gen won’t look like poop. -
Digital Foundry: AMD FSR 4 Upscaling Tested vs DLSS 3/4 & - A Big Leap Forward - RDNA 4 Delivers! If you play games with FSR3 (which is commonly used on consoles) then you know what’s being shown on those screens even when resized into a post stamp. FSR3 dithers and smudges this kind of detail terribly and it’s much worse when seen in motion. There are some examples that are even worse: -

What did you put in?What did you put in? I wrote an essay on how inevitable praise of Dark Souls also applies to Metroid but then deleted it as too pretentious even for BAFTA. -
So surely it will be a cross-gen game?
