@keefeglise @patrickhadfield What drives me nuts is that his acolytes will say from now on both that he did, in fact, institute an unprecedented tariff, that it happened and it was genius AND they will also say he never ever supported any such thing and stopped the wretched woke mob from causing it. And this is why I can't follow this stuff too closely. Although considering all of the wealthy people who stood to be hurt I didn't ever really think this would stick.
