I tried to get a photo of him with just his beans sticking out, but then he moved. Heck is he a beautiful boy, though!

I'll walk past the bedroom, look in, see him looking cute again... Walk back, get the phone, take a photo. He's so photogenic and fun. Look at him, pioneering this new technique to both hide under the bed and not!
It does of course take only some three seconds for Musti to trail me and go "Ah, a ribbon, fantastic" and then Rudolf stops playing... And if I do it very diplomatically, they'll take turns playing. Musti on the floor, Rudolf on the bed, though the latter is much more distracted when the original boys are that close.
Fourth cat morning update: He experimentally came to investigate my bed while I was still in the bed. There has also been more playing with the ribbon, with occasional sounds of him doing battle with it, and when I go to look he pauses but the quilt is all rumpled. Then he daintily sits back and waits me to play with him. No pets, only ribbon!
@futurebird They're trying to communicate with us in so many ways that they've had to learn because humans are generally bad at speaking anything but basic cat! Sometimes you can see they're going down the check list of "things I can do to make human pay attention" and if you're busy, it depends on the day how fast that cycles to cat crimes...
There's so many little things the boys want, in very specific ways, and sometimes you spot them doing something (looking into the direction of the water bowl, getting annoyed at crumpled up blanket edge, having an itch in a hard to reach spot) without them asking for it, and they look so delighted and surprised! The primate somehow knew!
Today in #Cats, I gave Musti some combing and brushies, because he's shedding his undercoat. Well, now he's trying his best to replicate what he was doing this morning to receive further brushies.
I'm like sir. Sir. Sir you received ten minutes of brushies today, we have another brushies appointment in two days! I have only so many spoons and I'm trying to get some sewing done!
I walk past the laundry bin full of my clean laundry, awaiting ironing, and now apparently cats.
"Sirs. That's my laundry."
Karvinen does a slow blink at me and tucks his face back into PΓΆrri's fur. I sagely nod.
"Understandable, carry on."
