@futurebird They're trying to communicate with us in so many ways that they've had to learn because humans are generally bad at speaking anything but basic cat! Sometimes you can see they're going down the check list of "things I can do to make human pay attention" and if you're busy, it depends on the day how fast that cycles to cat crimes... There's so many little things the boys want, in very specific ways, and sometimes you spot them doing something (looking into the direction of the water bowl, getting annoyed at crumpled up blanket edge, having an itch in a hard to reach spot) without them asking for it, and they look so delighted and surprised! The primate somehow knew!
