I expect someone has told you about the "Norwich keyboard" already... but just in case there is a concrete keyboard in Norwich, a bit of public art and it's rather beloved. It was made by Molly Sole in 1999 who intended it to be a mystery which for years it was. @futurebird @trurl i had two of them, the 60-in-One and 100-in-One. there was a project book that came with each one which would give you numbered wiring sequences, a schematic, and a wiring diagram for each circuit in the book. the number on the kit refers to the number of projects in the book, many of which are basic knowledge for building larger circuits such as op-amps, flip-flops, sensors, signals, digital logic if the kit included an IC package, serial and parallel, etc, as well as fun stuff like a crystal radio.

@gbargoud @andytiedye Absolutely! And they love it!Now you wouldn't think a modern child would be impressed by eight lights blinking out binary. But it hits different when YOU made it happen and know why it's working. And it's all just gates-n-switches.

@futurebird One of our cats will sometimes go off where she's farthest from us and yowl her head off. If we go check on her, she gets annoyed. She's done this since a young kitten and vet checks are all fine. We've decided she's just singing the song of her people.

@JamesWidman @Gustodon Asking because in some locations the few "medically significant" spiders are not aggressive at all and you'd need to pin the spider down to get it to bite you. Generally since spiders are small and scared of people it's hard to get bit by them. But always check your boots. If that makes sense.
