I'm now very motivated to study why supercells form where they do.There's no way this is a coincidence. Watching warm wet air go over my region is like watching a shallow creek with a single pebble in it. The same one spot is a nucleation point for potential storms. I want to know why. My problem with him is that NHL just blocks the whole Russia-Ukraine war discussion and when somebody asks him about it (or other NHL suits) he just tries to dodge it or talks about difficult political situation and doesn’t have balls to use word: WAR. Ovechkin who still has Putin’s pic in his IG thumbnail is a god to them. Politics and sports go together these days and Putin’s has used athletes in his propaganda for decades. (4 Nations also had a strong political vibe.). NHL just doesn’t want to hear about it and their (or Caps fans) only defense is that politics shouldn’t be mixed with sports.

everyone is entitled to a take i guess. but the points presented here seem like a nothing burger.

I generally read moderately niche fiction titles and they're all there, but I am monolingual so everything is in English.

I use the phrase codified. For example Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 didn't invent fighting or exploring in 3D, but both *established* a baseline of what it should feel like. Pokemon took what SMT/Dragon Quest/Mother was putting down, simplified and refined the vibe and made it more accessible.
